Description
Bright double room in a well-maintained, two-person flat, moments from Woolwich Arsenal station.
This single-occupancy double room (5th floor) comes furnished with a memory foam bed, blackout curtains, desk and chair, shelving, integrated wardrobe and personal fridge. I've gone for a minimalist warm industrial aesthetic, with a few thoughtful touches echoed throughout the flat that I hope you’ll appreciate.
Rent is £850 per calendar month, with all household bills included, so there are no additional utility costs to worry about.
You’ll be sharing the flat with just me, your resident landlord. There’s no separate communal living room, but you’ll have exclusive use of your bedroom and access to the shared kitchen, bathroom and other facilities.
The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge-freezer, electric cooker and oven, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine and a fancy-shmancy electric clothes dryer.
Oh, and as a millennial (or insert relevant group moniker), most importantly, you’ll have access to fast 1Gb Hyperoptic broadband, alongside Netflix and Prime Video, subject to the services’ sharing arrangements. I know, I know — best landlord ever, right?
A little fresh air?
Love the great outdoors? Heck, even if you don’t, you’ll have access to the balcony! A lovely spot to unwind, enjoy the view or do a little people-watching.
If you’re a cyclist, you’re in good company! Although there’s currently no dedicated bicycle storage, I’m happy for you to keep your bike on the balcony, subject to available space. After all, I’ve got a few bikes of my own.
The neighbourhood
Woolwich has undergone considerable regeneration, bringing a host of shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, public spaces and leisure facilities to the area.
You’ll also have excellent transport links across London, with the Elizabeth line, National Rail, DLR, buses and the Thames cycle path all close by.
Woolwich Arsenal station is just a two-minute walk down the road, putting much of London within easy reach.
A little about your future flatmate
If you’d like to know a little about the person you’ll be sharing with, I’m a sober, somewhat eccentric 33-year-old cocktail bar manager and architecture graduate. ENFJ personality type, if that’s your thing.
I appreciate a comfortable, considerate living environment where we can both feel at home, enjoy our independence and get along without unnecessary fuss.
The practical bits
Rent is £850 per calendar month, including bills.
A security deposit and rent in advance will be required, with the exact payment arrangements confirmed before moving in.
You’ll need to be willing to sign a lodger agreement, the terms of which can be reviewed beforehand.
And to reduce the chances of me living with an axe murderer or fraudster (don’t pretend you haven’t haven’t seen those series on Netflix), proof of income, identification and references will be requested.
Come now — fall for my way with words and message me if you’re interested. Who knows? You could soon be living with me in this flat that I’m marketing with such pizzazz.
