Description
Double room in a much sought-out location, 5 minute walk to the Meadows, 25 minute walk into city centre, lots of green spaces, lots of good coffee places - what's not to like!
I am the main tenant in the flat and have been living here for the past 10 years and have very much made this place a home I delight being in and I hope that whoever joins me here, will appreciate the ambience. There's lots of colour here, fluffy sheepskin rugs, immense amount of plants and lots of artwork on the walls.
A little bit about me. I'm a 45 yr old female and work as a therapist. I completely adore my job, but as I spend tremendous amount of time with people at work - at home I like peace and quiet. My current flatmate who is sadly leaving the country and I have shared very similar expectations with regards to what we would like home to be. We don't receive many guests and this is what suited us both. I would like to preferably continue in this vein. I do have people over for dinner and we have family and friends visiting from abroad, but I would say it's an 80/20 rule where most of the time we just go about our lives in relative peace and undisturbed. So I suppose someone who does not see home as a hub for social life, but rather a place where you recharge and go inwards, would be my preference.
I would be looking for a person who will have a similar diurnal rhythm to me, which means mostly that the quiet hours start at 10pm. Also, I would rather the evening cooking time did not happen later than 7.30 or 8 if possible, as my bedroom is near the kitchen and I can be quite disturbed by intense smells. If you haven't been put off by all that specificity, read on...
The flat would be probably best suited for a mature/Phd student, a researcher, writer, a lecturer.
There naturally is Wi-fi, washing machine, dishwasher. There is no parking space. It's a non-smoking flat, no couples , no pets , yes to omnivores.
All bills included
I apologise in advance, but I will only answer to enquiries that I might consider the right fit. Really sorry.
