I have a very comfy double room available in my flat based in Pilrig.
The flat is on the first floor, there is an elevator, free parking, bike storage and access to a fitness suite within the estate. The property is 5 mins from an 11, 36 and 10 bus stop as well as being on the edge of Pilrig Park.

The room comes with a double bed, two bedside tables, one large rug, a large wardrobe with full length mirror, a desk and chair. I have an en-suite so we won’t be fighting over the shower in the mornings!☺️

The living room is very spacious with a large corner sofa, a tv with many subscriptions etc. There is also a large dining table with room for 6 on the opposite end.

The kitchen is large and fully functional but very old and outdated. New appliances have been installed and it’s scheduled for renovation in June and is very well-equipped.

I am a 27 year old Operations Manager who works from home 80% of the time so I am looking for someone who does not work from home (sorry!) but for the right person I am open to discussing this.

I love to have a catch-up at the end of the day and it’s always nice to share dinner occasionally and do fun activities together. I have a pretty intense work schedule that requires travel so I do also enjoy my own downtime a lot. It’s important to me that we have a relationship as opposed to merely living together. I like to swim, gym and run; going for walks; any and all crafts; and doing home improvements. Also a sucker for the Nintendo Switch so Mario Kart enthusiasts are very welcome 🤪

I dogsit/board depending on my workload here and there so there may be furry friends to play with throughout the week. Dog friendly is pretty essential to living here :)

Students welcome but required to pay Council Tax which is band E (£95 each). Electricity/gas would be split and during winter tends to be between £70-100 each and summer is between £30-50 each.

No couples please and no pets! 🥲

I am flexible with the move-in date in January but I am not in a rush to rent the room until I feel I have found the right fit ☺️ I am also preferably looking for a shorter term let with the possibility of extending to long term for the right person.
