Room for single occupancy only avail. from Sept

Please read carefully. Strictly for single person occupancy. Not suitable for a couple or family. I will not read those enquiries.

Looking for someone to rent one of my rooms on a short term basis. Long term would be considered depending on how things go. There is no common area so therefore the kitchen would be the place to hang out. Your room will come furnished. The price will include council tax and other bills.

I have two cats so you must be a genuine cat person and must be willing to put up with them as they are mostly indoors. You must be willing to allow them in your space as cats do whatever they want. They do like going out into the garden sometimes too.

Professionals and mature students over 30 and above preferred. Non-smokers only (This includes all sorts of smoking or drugs).

My flat is located in Shandon and close to all the amenities. I am only 2 mins away from the union canal. There are some lovely trails nearby such as Craiglockhart hill and Colinton. Great for those who like to be active. The town centre is also easily accessible from my place. It’s about 10 mins on the bus or 25 mins by walk.

You are more than welcome to stop by for a visit if you are local or can do a video call if preferred.

Proof of ID will be required. Also will need to see proof of your visa if you are an international student/professional.

A bit about myself : I’m very social so would be willing to do things together. I’m into running, walking, hiking, pilates and yoga. Also enjoy music and dancing. Love watching the odd musical or comedy show at the theatre. As much as I love eating out, I wouldn’t mind a housemate I can cook and bake with even though I haven’t baked in a long time 😅. Equally happy for you to keep to yourself.
