Flatshare in Peaceful Home Overlooking Leith Links

Hello! I'm looking for a flatmate to move into a big double bedroom in a lovely bright flat overlooking Leith Links 🪴

📅 Move in date from 1 May but earlier might be possible.

The Room 🛏
A big double bedroom with an adjoining study (with skylight), which also works as a walk-in wardrobe. It’s a spacious setup, so perfect if you like having a separate place to work and relax. The room comes furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers, while the study has a desk and office chair.

The Flat 🌞
The flat has a bright living room overlooking the treetops of the Links. It’s recently been redecorated, including new wooden floors and paint, and feels super cosy. There’s a big TV with subscriptions you can use.

The kitchen is separate and has a sociable dining area. It’s well equipped with a dishwasher, gas hob, oven, fridge, freezer and washing machine, as well as a large pantry. There’s plenty of cookware and a library of cookbooks (I love cooking!).

We share one bathroom next to the bedrooms, with a good shower. There’s a third room currently used as a dressing room, which I’m planning to turn into a guest room for visitors.

There’s plenty of storage space with two large cupboards off the main hallway.

About me, about you! ✨️
I’m hoping to find someone friendly, tidy, considerate, who will take pride in our shared space. For me home is a bit of a sanctuary – somewhere calm to unwind in the evenings and at weekends.

I work at the book festival and travel into the office Mon-Fri. Downtime is usually spent cooking, reading, sprucing up the flat, or pottering around Leith with friends. I go to yoga/dance a couple of times a week, love the cinema, and travel whenever I get the opportunity.

It’d be lovely to find a friend as well as a flatmate, but the most important thing is that we can communicate and feel comfortable. I'm pretty independent and respect the need for personal space, but also welcome a shared meal, walk, or a chat over wine after a long day!

The Location 📍
Located on a beautiful cobbled street overlooking Leith Links. It’s a 2-min walk to the Foot of the Walk tram stop, which runs directly into the city centre and airport.

A short walk to all the great cafés, bakeries, bars and independent shops along Leith Walk, as well as the Shore. Big Tesco on our doorstep 🙏

The building is peaceful and the neighbours are super friendly – I used to rent on this street before jumping at the chance to buy here!

I bought the flat last year and I'm gradually working on it! I'd be very happy for someone to bring their personal touches. There's a lot of space, which doesn't fully come across in the pics.
