Double (en-suite) room available for PhD students

Hi dear room seeker,

I am looking for a student flatmate from November onwards to join me in this two-person flat near Leith street. I am a 25 y. o. PhD student at the University of Edinburgh in my first year of studies:).

My current housemate is moving out as he is nearing the end of his PhD. Ideally I’d be looking for someone that cares about cleanliness and is open to having visitors from time to time (game nights, movie nights, friends over), specifically looking for a non-smoking housemate.

A bit about me: I would describe myself as an easy-going person, happy to have a chat once in a while but also open to keeping our lives private from each other. I am originally from Italy but have travelled around Europe for my studies (Germany, Netherlands, Ireland). In my spare time I bake, enjoy regular swimming and running outings and love to exchange with new people around a board game or in one of the nice spots around the beautiful Edinburgh.

You'd be landing a large and cozy double room with private bathroom available close to the top of Leith, a quiet and well connected area with lots of social attrations nearby.

The flat has a large kitchen and shared living room where guests can feel welcome and from which it is possible to work. The flat is well kept!

The landord lets through an agency that carries income checks on the tenants. Bills are about 100 GBP in summer and may double during winter, and they would be split in two.
