Sunny spacious room in cosy Marchmont flat

We're looking for a new flatmate for our three person flat in Marchmont! Room is £780 per month and bills (council tax+utitilities) are usually around £130 per month. Private landlady who's reponsive and fairly hands-off.

The available room is bright with large bay windows, which get sun most of the day (if there's sun of course!) The room comes furnished with a bed, a wardrobe, drawers and a desk but there's still plenty of room to fit a cosy chair if you like.

There's a shared kitchen/living space with lots worktop space, so perfect if you love to cook. We can often be found here in the evening, cooking, chatting and watching a show. We like to consider our flat our home and would love to find someone who has a similar approach to shared living. The bathroom was just renovated this year, with a brand new rain shower! There's lot's of storage space, in particular there's a box room where we store outdoor gear, dry our laundry and can be used to host people.

We're two girls living in the flat. Kirsten is 25 and from Cambridgeshire but has lived in Scotland for over 6 years, on and off. She works for a children's charity and is at the office or out and about most days. She loves climbing, plays for a netball club every week, love cold dips/sauna, mooching about charity shops (professional at that), nice coffee, going on fun adventures, walking up hills and mountains, crochet - all sorts !! She loves a chat and a giggle, love a cosy, clean, happy, comfy home with lots of fun and good energy!

Lucile is a 29yr old from Switzerland but used to study here and moved back to Edinburgh 2 years ago. She works as a postdoc researcher at the university and though her job is quite flexible she mostly works from her office at uni. She spends her evenings and weekends hanging out with friends, playing sports and being cozy at home. She can usually be convinced to go for a drink in the evening and does like a boogie. On a weekend she’s also usually down to buy an expensive coffee and go for a walk around town. For her it’s important that the flat feels like home, likes to keep it relatively clean and appreciates a cozy night in with flatmates.
