Heathfield is student hall accommodation. We do not accommodate non-students. We do not have accommodation for couples or families.

Heathfield offers you the facilities you’d find in a hall of residence, but in the friendly and supportive atmosphere more typical of a student house.
Once through the secure main entrance, you can visit throughout the building and make the kind of friendships that will enrich and support you through uni and beyond.
Your university experience is shaped by the people you meet and the friendships you make. Heathfield offers a welcoming home for students at Norwich University of the Arts, UEA and other Norwich HE institutions, at various stages of study and from different disciplines. We aim to assist our student residents to build lasting and enriching friendships.
We offer affordable accommodation in a diverse community home for 44 students in 6 flats of classic halls-style accommodation near to the heart of the city.
We have rooms available over the summer for short stays and we are also offering rooms for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The 6 flats each have 6, 7 or 8 bedrooms, and each flat has its own:

 2 showers
 2 toilets
 a large well-equipped kitchen and lounge

There are 39 standard rooms, 4 large rooms and one studio (with its own bathroom). Each bedroom
has a bed, desk, chair, noticeboard, bookshelf, chest of drawers, large wardrobe and washbasin.
Shared and communal facilities include:
 secure bike sheds and private parking
 a library room with access to a sunny enclosed garden
 the Heathfield Centre, a common room which offers space for meetings, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, parties or other events, and equipped with two pianos, a table tennis table and a home cinema
 a studio where you can do messy work without harming your deposit
 a token-operated on-site laundry
Heathfield stands in 1.4 acres of private grounds. The manager lives in a bungalow on-site, providing responsive management.
The rent includes all bills. The only additional costs are laundry, parking if you keep a car here, and council tax if you stop being a student (Band A).
