A 2-bedroom self-contained boat

We have 1-3 bedroom boats.***

A private self-contained boat with one double bedroom and one single bedroom. Will be rented as one unit, not separate bedrooms.

Have the opportunity to experience life on a boat on an island community with an eclectic bunch of individuals - Immersed in nature and living on the water.

Included:
- kitchen incl. hob and oven, fridge etc
- toilet and shower
- water and council tax
- communal laundry facilities

If you love nature, a different way of life and the opportunity to join a unique community unlike any other, this may be the right place for you :)

In line with our vision of sustainability, the Island is run mostly from our own solar generation and as we live in a biologically diverse area, having respect for the animals and the environment is a MUST.
As such, we cannot under any circumstances accept pets or children.

As we are on an island, surrounded by water, a short dinghy ride (boat) to and from mainland is necessary, unless you're a wild swimmer. A personal dingy will be supplied which you will be responsible for and welcome to take on joy rides along the river in.

Deposit is 4 weeks upfront.
Rent must be paid and kept at a month in advance.

Situated in east Norwich we are 40 minutes walk from Norwich city centre, 30 from Norwich train station (5 minutes by car).

**NOTE**
We are currently undergoing a change of management to do some much needed renovation to our island patch. Over the next couple of years we are going to turn our historical boat and engineering sheds into fully operational spaces, and improve all aspects of community living. As such, we can subsidise rent for labour that contributes towards this vision.
