We have one very large lovely double room with en suite to rent which is becoming available 10 December 2026 in a idyllic rural setting minutes from York, recently refurbished, professional semi-detached house in Crockey hill only 3miles from Fulford, York.

This room is almost separate from the rest of this large and spacious 5 bedroom farm house. Myself and our farm placement uni student work on the farm the house is situated within. Giving the perfect balance of a quiet rural setting whilst being only minutes away from York, surrounding villages & public transport if needed.

All bills are included (council tax, electric, heating oil, water, high speed Starlink satellite broadband etc). There is a large drive for parking, large garage, front and large rear garden, communal lounge with TV, log burning stove (which I will provide wood for so no problems there) full utility room with washing machine, well looked after carpets and flooring/furniture and soft furnishings throughout.

The location is great for anyone who would like to live in a rural quiet secluded safe spot whilst giving the connectivity of York and surrounding area with immediate access on the A19/A64.
Whilst York Designer outlet is a 2 minute drive away and only a short walk into naburn village or fulford village in York itself there is the main park and ride and other bus routes into town and the Designer Outlet, with buses running every 10 minutes.
The other professionals in the house are looking for a tidy, sociable person to join their home, and I am looking for someone who will pay the rent on time and treat the house like their home :)

Points to note- there’s a cute friendly very well behaved working dog who doesn’t wonder up the stairs or chews anything!

The main occupier has 2 well behaved children of 7&11 who visit every other weekend so this must be considered.

This is a friendly home for professionals or mature students to relax and enjoy. LGBT friendly.

The room is well decorated, but needs furniture.
