Peaceful house in quiet area of York, close to shops, deli, bakery, and bus routes into the city and to the uni.

Large back garden and a people friendly local park a few steps away, house only 20 minute walk to the city centre.

Spacious room with single bed for SINGLE OCCUPANCY ONLY.
Professionals preferred.
No pets allowed as we have a part time 9 year old Westie (hypoallergenic) dog visiting us at times. Super friendly and comical little thing that likes to say hello then romps back to its bed.

Shared kitchen with everything you need to cook and relax in. Shared bathroom but no lounge available. Enclosed garden and shared area to catch up and chat.

Looking for similar like minded, respectful professional lodger to enjoy the tranquility with occasional passing in the garden and kitchen for catch ups or just a friendly hello.

A warm comfortable home to come back to after a hectic day at work. A stepping stone to eventually finding your own home, this place is a sanctuary to relax in. Previous house guests considered it to be a home from home some staying for as long as six years.

All we ask is that you tidy the shared spaces when you’re finished in them, clean as you go.

As professionals in very demanding jobs we both enjoy our downtime in the privacy of our own rooms and the garden, any socialising with friends and family we partake in is away from the house so as to respect each other’s quiet time and space. No overnight guests allowed as to protect the security of the property and its contents.

There is an area for smoking in the garden and also in the side shed in the winter so no sitting out in the snow and the rain. No smoking allowed in the rooms or the house.

It’s a very quiet house and sleep is much needed so we are looking for the non furniture shuffling, non door slamming and non foot stomping kind of person.

Garden space very tranquil with home grown vegetables to enjoy. you are more than welcome to enjoy maintaining veg growth with occasional watering and grow your own food.

£200 per week which works out at £28 per night with all bills included.
