Why Dunnington?
It's a proper village, not just a commuter suburb - a historic settlement recorded in the Domesday Book, with roots going back to Anglo-Saxon times. There's a good pub, The Cross Keys, plus Dunnington Sports Club which also runs as a bar, and a couple of cosy cafés if you're after a coffee and something sweet. For downtime, there are football, cricket and rugby teams, plus music and drama groups, a gardening club and a history society - an easy way to meet people outside your course. The Dunnington Sports and Social Club has some of the best squash facilities in Yorkshire, including three glass-backed courts, and there's a play park, plus Hagg Wood and Hassacarr Nature Reserve nearby for walks and green space. It's home to the Grade II* listed St Nicholas' Church, parts of which date back to the 11th century, and the village even sits on National Cycle Network Route 66 if you fancy cycling into York instead.
What's included:
✔️ All bills (gas, electric, water, broadband)
✔️ £195 per week
✔️ £800 deposit
