Welcome to my advert for my cosy and well maintained little cottage in a semi-rural and EXTREMELY PEACEFUL location!

i'm looking for an HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY housemate who is fun, KIND, smart, calm and likes a laugh to join me in a peaceful little corner of the Northamptonshire countryside..

You will have the place to yourself while i'm away for work/travel in the future, so (to repeat) someone who is honest and trustworthy, who i can absolutely rely on to look after the place, is of utmost importance to me.
And someone NEAT & TIDY - as my place is always spotless.

Newly refurbished to a high specification 2 bedroom - 1 bathroom Victorian terrace on the edge of Bozeat near Olney..
This is a 150 year old property so is certainly NOT a new build, but it has all the amenities you could possibly require (i hope! lol).
The house is located towards the end - last terrace but one - of a Cul-de-sac so very little traffic.
Very peaceful and quiet!
(Hearing the church bells peeling on a Sunday morning is just lovely!)
AND YET:
10 minutes drive north to
Wellingborough Railway station which has:
44 minute direct train service directly to St. Pancras International Station London &
21 minutes direct train service to London Luton Airport Parkway station.
&
Only 8 minutes drive (south) to the gorgeous Georgian Market Town of Olney, and all it's amenities!!!!
21 minutes drive into Milton Keynes Centre.
42 minutes drive directly to London Luton Airport.
90 minute drive into CENTRAL LONDON.

Downstairs are a large open-plan living/dining room with chairs, sofas, dining table with chairs, working open fireplace & 55 inch 4k Tv.
Fully fitted kitchen with induction hob, washing machine, fridge-freezer, blender, dishwasher and microwave.
FTTP (fibre to the property) asynchronous gigabit internet.
South facing fully enclosed and fenced garden (with wooden table and chairs & Outback Gas Barbecue) where i will be spending most of my free time growing veggies (weather/ season permitting obviously)!
Brick barn at bottom of the garden will be converted to additional accommodation, gym or both (eventually).
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one of which is very spacious - HUGE in fact - and will be yours.
A SUPER KINGSIZE sleigh bed with HYPNOS (if you know you know) mattress will be provided.
This bedroom is big enough for a computer desk/chair for working and a set of drawers, wardrobe and probably even a small sofa to make it almost self contained living space.
A newly fitted (shared) bathroom with shower above a full sized bath with glass shower screen, toilet and sink - and airing cupboard which contains the Ideal Vogue Combination Boiler.
There's parking on the street (i park my one vehicle on the street outside the house) so unless you drive a bus you'll have space for a vehicle, and there are spaces available <30seconds walk away.
Furthermore, there is an option of paying £80 per calendar month to a neighbour directly opposite who has a space for one vehicle available to rent - which is obviously ideal if parking is a deal-breaking requirement! :)
(The money is NOTHING to do with me and will have to be negotiated separately, but i will, of course, make the introductions - and they're lovely people too!)

NO SMOKING INDOORS!
i don't smoke (except, for some strange reason, at Christmas parties which is one of the very (very) few times a year i let my hair down and drink alcohol - and for some reason when i drink a beer... i fancy a ciggie!? haha).
And i couldn't care less if you do as long as you do it outdoors and considerately (so the smoke doesn't affect any neighbours) and put your butts in an ashtray!
Deposit required, but references aren't a deal-breaker for me, as i will be choosing very carefully and wisely (as i'm sure will you).
