Double room. Open to rental offers

I have a lodger in waiting for this room and I am holding the room until 20/03. Only if he changes his mind will it become available again, sorry.

Just freshly decorated, all new furniture.

Rent is slightly negotiable

You will get this double room living here with Me (Steve), my husband, (Dennis) and currently, a male lodger.

All bills including council tax are included. Broadband is fast so you can watch anything or surf.

The room has a metal framed double memory foam bed, an undercounter fridge/freezer, a microwave and kettle (see picture). You will also have ample storage space. Also included is bedding (only one set to get you started), plates, bowls, cutlery, cups & a fold out table.

You can customise the room of course though it must be put back to how it was when you moved in.

We are a 50-minute walk into town or 25 minutes’ walk to the station. Bus is just across the road and one with options further afield is about a 10 min walk.

A large Lidl is 15 minutes to walk with Sainsbury Superstore 30 minutes, obviously much quicker driving. T

There is a lovely pub/restaurant 8 minutes’ walk away (Hopping Hare). and a handy corner shop at the end of the road.

Real countryside is just a short walk away on to the Spencer Estate and their farmed forest open to the public. Althorpe House is just 3 miles up the road.

We’ve a shower upstairs with a loo and wash basin and a toilet and wash basin downstairs.

There is a very large decking area you may enjoy when the weather is nice along with other little areas of the garden where you might spend time with friends or family.

Yes, of course there are rules, sharing our house so inevitably there will be. Honestly, it’s nothing terrible. In many aspects it is just emphasising what should be obvious, respect everyone else.

Parking on the road at the front or out the back.

You may occasionally get invited to join us for a meal now and then, perhaps some karaoke or a full on party (rare) outside in the garden. You are never obliged to join in, we just want you to feel welcome and valued.

Talk to me if you have children, we might be able to agree something.

Never feel shy about having a chat, the more we get to know each other the more comfortable we all feel.

Languages spoken are English and Filipino though English would be really helpful.
