A furnished double room to let in a homely property in Rushden, East Northamptonshire.

The bedroom is furnished with a bed, bedside table & lamp, a large chest of drawers, a full length mirror hung on the wall, a hanging rail & black-out curtains.
The downstairs is shared living space. It comprises of:

An open-plan living room - two seater sofa, a ‘reading nook’, a 42-inch smart HD LG TV, original fireplace, built in coved shelving for books etc, under the stairs cupboard space for extra storage ideal for coats & footwear.

The dining room has a large pine farm style dining table & 4 matching upholstered chairs.

The large, light & airy kitchen has a Range master cooker and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, 4-piece toaster, plenty of cupboard space & modern reclaimed wooden shelving. Shared kitchen cooking utensils include all the essentials.

The kitchen has double doors leading to the garden which has a wrought iron table & chairs on the patio, & a lawned section with fruit trees, a greenhouse & and a large secure shed you may use for reasonable storage.

The main bathroom is downstairs and shared between two persons. It has a large cast iron bath with overhead shower, toilet, sink, a new modern tall towel radiator & built in storage for bathroom bits, towels etc.

The front garden includes one off-road parking space, there is plenty of on street parking as there are no houses directly opposite us.

I employ a gardener who maintains the front & rear garden spaces, he comes once a month or as needed.

The house is newly decorated with attention to detail. We clean up after ourselves and keep the space nice for everyone. Potential for shared cleaner if necessary & agreed on but hasn’t been needed yet.

Great transport links, M1 nearby & A45, fast train to London from Wellingborough station in under 45-minutes.
