Description
Double room available with use of whole house from beginning of December (possibly earlier) in a 3 bedroom new build house sharing with a couple. Full thermostatic central heating and instant hot water. There is a well equipped kitchen, with lots of useful gadgets for the aspiring chef. We also have a shed (in our small sunny garden with seating) if you're a cyclist and need to lock your bike away. You will have a car parking space in front of the house.
Please note that we will be away for work for extended periods of time, so you will be expected to keep shared areas that you use clean. A trustworthy professional person who likes their own company and is looking for a place to share, with our very rare stays, is the ideal sort of person we are looking for. You will have full access to the living/dining area which we are happy to share and socialise in on the occasions we are around. This is a nice quiet estate and we have great neighbours so this would not suit someone looking for a party house. It may suit a couple (terms can be discussed) and/or someone with a well behaved dog who is looking to move to the area but wants to stay in the area first to see if the region is for them/whilst house hunting.
Bedding and towels are supplied but of course you can use your own. We have a washing machine with dryer that you can use and the garden for hanging out clothes if you wish.
We're in a quiet location, walking distance from Amble centre and the beach and we're opposite a large Morrisons supermarket. We're about 20minutes by car to Alnwick, 25minutes to Morpeth and 40minutes to Newcastle.
Rent £700 pcm includes all bills, and Wifi. If you are a couple we can discuss rental terms which may be slightly more. If you work from home we can discuss how this would affect charges for heating and extra electricity use.
We like cycling, hiking, food and anything to do with being outdoors and the natural world.
Veggie housemates are preferred, although this is not a deal breaker if we find the right person as we will be away from the house a lot of the time. Non smokers preferred, and smoking or vaping is not allowed in the house. Otherwise no preferences, as long as you are a nice, friendly person.
We're currently preparing the spare room, so no photos of that room at the moment. If you do want to discuss the possibility of renting, drop us a message and we'll take it from there and arrange a time for you to come and view.
