Double Bedroom in Luxury Professional House.

I have a room to let from the 26th November 2023 onwards, in a recently renovated professional property on Derby Grove, Nottingham, NG7 1PF. The room is a fully furnished large double bedroom, with a full height double wardrobe, a built-in oak desk, full height mirror and plenty of storage. The room is cosy, but quirky with an industrial look, pine floorboards and solid oak shelving (made by me!).

I'm Luke, the live in landlord, and work as an architect in a sustainable design studio. Over the last few years I have been renovating this house, which is now finally finished! :) I have really enjoyed making the space unique and comfortable. The property has been renovated to a high standard with the following features:

- Lounge with cosy log burning stove.
- Stylish new kitchen with bi-folding doors opening on to a small (but perfectly formed) courtyard garden.
- Walk in wet-room style shower.
- Stone paved garden with rattan cushioned furniture, and secure bike storage.
- Plants, plants plants! We have quite a few...

My current lodgers are Ali, who is a newly qualified doctor working at the Queens Medical Centre, and George, who works in App development & is a musician in his spare time.

We are looking for a relaxed & friendly professional, or a mature student on a masters course at University. We are fairly social as a house, and aim to have a house meal together every now & then, if possible - although this is very relaxed & not mandatory. We also have a cleaning rota, to make sure the house is kept tidy & everyone chips in fairly.

The £580 / month price is inclusive of all bills, council tax & internet. There are no fees, however a months rent is required as deposit.

On street parking is a little difficult, as myself and my partner Lisa have the parking permits allocated to the property. Ideally we are looking for a lodger who doesn't need on street parking.
