There are a useful group of shops right next to the house including a late-night Premier supermarket, chemist, post office, and launderette. Lidl is also close by.
At the end of Beech Ave is the bus stop into town. The no. 68,69 and 71 all go to the Victoria centre and the journey takes about 7 minutes. The tram stop is a 5-minute walk away.
