A lovely furnished double room in a welcoming home

I'm looking for a friendly and considerate lodger to share my home, with a bright, furnished double bedroom available on the ground floor.

The room is a lovely, light-filled space, with French doors opening straight out onto the garden – perfect for enjoying a little fresh air or a morning coffee. You'll also have access to a bathroom with a shower, which will be for your almost-exclusive use (occasionally shared with visiting guests).

You'll be welcome to make use of the shared kitchen, sitting room and living room, so there's plenty of space to relax and feel at home.

A little about the location

The house is situated in a lovely area, with everything you need close by. Aldi is just a two-minute walk away, and Tilley Park is around ten minutes on foot – ideal for a stroll or a bit of fresh air. There are also convenient transport links into Oxford, Witney and Abingdon town centre.

A little about me (and the home)

I'm a teacher, so I generally have a fairly regular routine during term time, with a little more flexibility during the school holidays. I enjoy baking, reading and curling up on the sofa with a good series. I'm always happy to have a good chat over a cup of tea (or a glass of wine!), but equally appreciate that everyone needs their own space and downtime after a busy day.

I enjoy having a clean, tidy and welcoming home, and would love to find someone who feels the same. I'd therefore be looking for a considerate lodger who will contribute to the general cleaning and upkeep of shared spaces.

A few things to note

The room and house would suit someone who works outside the home, as unfortunately the space isn't suitable for working from home.

Above all, I'm hoping to find someone friendly, respectful and easy-going who would enjoy sharing a home rather than simply having somewhere to sleep. I'd love the house to feel like a comfortable and happy place for us both.
