Quiet room in professional vegan house

Double bedroom at the back, overlooking gorgeous large garden. I normally live here with my partner and am looking for a lodger for my room, as I'm going to live most of the time in a nearby intentional community and will be staying in his room when I'm around.

Would suit someone who needs a place to 'land' in Oxford, perhaps before you find something more permanent - we're flexible on move out date.

It's a tiny room so probably best for one person rather than a couple, though you'd be welcome to have people stay over. There is a desk for working in the room, or you can use the large dining table downstairs. My partner works from home in a shed in the garden. I'm an artist, he's the computer guy for a local leftie magazine.

Two shared bathrooms (one with shower, one with bath). Two bedrooms, one of which will be yours. Shared kitchen which could do with a revamp but does the job. Large shared lounge/dining area with wood burner. Front and back garden. Washing machine.

Quiet street 20mins walk from Cowley Road main shops (10min by bike), via nice footpath through the park. 5mins walk from large supermarkets, with a corner shop 50metres away. 10mins walk from Florence Park & cafe. Bus stops 2min walk for buses into town/rail station/Headington Brookes University. No parking for cars - just a covered bike rack in the front garden.

Vegans preferred, but open to respectful veggies too - my partner is strict vegan and prefers no animal products in the house if possible, though he isn't a dick about it. I'll be around some of the time visiting. You'll particularly enjoy staying here if you're a bookish type looking for peace & quiet and into politics, environment, walking outdoors and/or playing the boardgame Go.
