Description
I'm looking for a lodger to join me in my lovely home on Hollow Way, East Oxford.
The furnished double room comes with kingsize bed, new mattress, large built in wardrobe space, chest of drawers , bedside tables and lighting.
You have access to the downstairs space, including two living areas and kitchen, plus the bathroom with bath and shower - as well as the patio and garden.
All bills are included.
I am ideally looking for someone to live with me from the end of September for three to six months. I am flexible on dates/length of stay.
ABOUT ME
I am a work at home professional - with a friendly little tabby cat called Toast and a gorgeous and very quiet whippet called Win.
I'm quite an active person, but homely too. When I am at home, I like to dabble in a bit of drawing, baking and plant appreciation. When out, I'll likely be teaching yoga, cycling around, swimming about, at the gym, life drawing, or venturing out to any field/meadow I can get my hands on.
WHO I AM LOOKING FOR
I'm looking for a female lodger, either mature student or professional.
I am looking for someone who is low-key and pretty chill. Although I work from home, I'm out of the house quite a bit too - and as respectful of your space as you of mine. Certainly someone who is up for a chat or coffee :)
As I do work at home, ideally you are out for some of the working week during the day - but flexible on this.
ABOUT THE HOUSE/AREA
The house is pretty lovely, I am in the attic, with your room and the shared bathroom on the first floor.
The bathroom is a highlight for sure! See photo.
The kitchen has a large Belling cooker/gas stove and you'll have your own cupboard for storage.
Your room comes furnished - you are welcome to add a desk etc to the space as needed or any other furniture.
The shared downstairs has a cosy living room, plus open plan kitchen/living room/dining space.
The garden has a large patio and lawn.
Very close to the ring road, science parks and JR hospital.
I cycle about everywhere, with central Oxford about 15min away on a bike, There's plenty of buses nearby that go every 10 minutes or so (bus stop a 1-minute walk) and easy access to the ring road if you drive.
Although I don't have a parking space, permits are available (extra cost to be at lodgers expense) and there are lots of side streets very close to use.
You're welcome to store your bike, if you have one, in the secure garden or shed.
Closest shops, supermarkets, gym etc are a 10min walk away.
If you have any other questions just reach out and ask!
