Looking for a lodger (professional or post-grad student) to rent lovely, light-filled double bedroom in a terraced house in the Grimsbury area of Banbury.

The house is a 10-minute walk from Banbury train station for an easy commute to Oxford, London or Birmingham.

It's a quiet, female, bookish household. I'm a writer and editor working in publishing and I often work from home.

The rest of the house – kitchen, bathroom, living and dining room – is communal, as is the lovely garden.

A non-allergic fan of cats is fairly essential, as my cat rules the roost.
