Looking for a medium or long-term lodger

Hi!

We are looking for a medium or long-term English and/or Spanish-speaking lodger: university/mature student, age 20+.
Must have positive attitude to life, be tidy and respectful to the house rules of staying in a family house, and like dogs.

Depending on availability, we offer 2 comfortable double furnished rooms (one King size bed and one small double) in our spacious non-smoking family house with a large garden and all modern amenities. The bathroom is shared with the other lodger(s).

The live-in landlord's family is a small friendly household: a mature woman (medical doctor) and 21 year old London-based university student daughter, current lodger and a 7 year old cockapoo. Combined interests are many and include walking, travelling, socialising with friends and relatives, quiet time at home, music, concerts etc. Modern languages is one of the interests; a discount will be offered for conversation practice in Spanish. We are always keen to learn something new about other people’s interests and cultures.

We have excellent feedback from previous lodgers and are very familiar with sharing communal spaces in the house.

Our house is in a quiet residential street with very friendly neighbours; close to the Rock Edge Nature Reserve in Headington, (Oxford OX38NE); a short distance to local shops, gyms, cafes, restaurants and pubs; just a few minutes walk to bus stops with routes towards the centre of Oxford and out of Oxford towards London and several airports. It is close to Headington Campus of the Oxford Brookes University and the Oxford University hospitals.

The rent depends on the room and will include all reasonable house bills. Off street parking for one car is negotiable for an additional charge.
