Description
Hello everyone!
My current housemate have to move out from Oxford, due to his relocation, so I am looking for replacement.
The house is very cosy, semi-detached and located in a quiet area of Headington. Headington is a nice and lovely district, very close to the parks, hospitals (JR - 15 minutes walk), shops, schools and public transport. You can get to the city centre by bus (10 minutes) or by walk (around 40 minutes).
I think, the area itself does not need to be advertised, and the house is literally in its centre (The Headington Shark - please google :).
The tenancy agreement is based on a replacement the old contract and will be valid for one year or longer if you would like to stay. In the house will only be two people, me and you. The house has 2 large bedrooms (one will be yours) and a shared bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, is an additional small guest room where you can relax, a kitchen with a living room and access to the garden, and a small additional toilet. The kitchen + living room is spacious and bright, fully equipped. Our very nice neighbour takes care of the garden (cutting the grass, flowers etc.) and of the bins, so we don't have to worry about it. If you have a bicycle, you can keep it in the garden as I do it myself - is very safe.
Unfortunately, the is no private carpark - so if you have a car you will have to apply for off street parking.
Your room - has a window on the eastern side (very sunny in the morning) overlooking the streets. It is a one-way, internal street, so during the day, only a few cars passing by and it is super quiet. The room will be equipped with a double bed, a bedside table and a chest of drawers. Other than that, it will remain completely empty (after current house mate will moved out), so you can bring your own furniture and arrange it the way you want. The rest of the house is fully equipped.
Cleaning the house and keeping it in good condition is our responsibility, so I really care to find a responsible person who likes cleanliness and wants to treat this place like a home, rather than just a place to sleep. Unfortunately, I can not accept students/without job contract. Pets are also not allowed - sorry, as results from the tenancy agreement. Smoking is only allowed in the garden.
I am looking for someone sociable, talkative who likes going out together from time to time and at the same time who values peace and quiet at home. As I work a lot (long hours) in the hospital and study at the same time, home is a place for me to rest and relax.
Costs: renting a house, including all bills (tax, water, gas + energy) is between £1,000 and £1,100 max/month for each of us, and it would not be less. The rental cost itself is 775 + bills. Internet is not included as I am currently using my own router, but if you decide to stay longer we can sign a contract with Virgin Media (or different) together (about £15 extra each of us). Water and tax are fixed bills and electricity depends on our consumption. I prefer keep the house warm, so the price of £1100 per month is based on the last winter period.
If you are interested or have any further questions, please write me a massage and we will arrange a meeting, for you to see the house and discuss everything over coffee.
Hope you will find your favourite place to stay soon !
