The accommodation comprises a spacious super-king bedroom plus a separate private room suitable as a study, sitting room, or dressing room. It would particularly suit a visiting professional, clinician, academic, researcher, locum, or postgraduate researcher needing a temporary Oxford base.

Both rooms are included in the rent and are let together to one lodger only. They are not available separately. The end date is fixed, and the arrangement cannot be extended beyond 30 September 2026.

Preference will be given to an applicant who can take the accommodation for most or all of the available period.

a single bed;
a study table;
space to use as a private study, sitting room, or dressing room.
This room is included in the rent for the lodger's sole use.

The upstairs bathroom is shared with one other upstairs lodger. The fully fitted ground-floor kitchen is shared by the household, with an additional fridge/freezer available in the garage. Shared facilities are used considerately and should be left clean and tidy after use.

This is a quiet, professional, resident-landlord household.
The landlord is a Senior Consultant at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and a Senior Academic at the University of Oxford. He lives at the property as the resident landlord and shares household facilities when in residence.
The other upstairs lodger is a male doctor working at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. A male lodger may be preferred because the current household is male.
The household is:
non-smoking;
alcohol-free;
free from recreational drug use;
pet-free.
Single occupancy only. No additional occupants, subletting, or overnight guests are permitted.

🪪 Checks and agreement
Applicants will be asked to provide:
suitable identification;
Right to Rent documentation or a share code;
a suitable reference, such as an employer, academic institution, previous landlord, or character reference.
A signed fixed-term lodger agreement will be required before moving in. The agreement will end on 30 September 2026, with no automatic renewal or extension.
