Cosy double room in a lovely, quiet house with a garden in South Oxford (New Hinksey), available from the first half of December (move-in date quite flexible). A convenient and affordable option in a green, peaceful neighbourhood within easy reach of central Oxford, ideal for a young professional or researcher.

The house has two bathrooms and a nice back garden. You'll be sharing with three young professionals (two women and one man), all in their late 20s to early 30s.

The room is on the smaller side but bright and cosy, with plenty of storage space, a comfortable double bed and recently bought furniture. It's also been repainted not long ago and is in great condition. The roof window lets in lots of natural light. The room faces the back garden, which makes it very peaceful with no street noise.

The location is good, within walking distance of Oxford city centre and with good bus connections to Cowley and Abingdon (Lake Street is the nearest bus stop). Hinksey Park and its lake are just a few minutes' walk away, along with Hinksey Outdoor Pool for swimming in summer. There are also a couple of nice local pubs, (Slow & Steady and the Duke of Monmouth), and a recently opened coffee shop just around the corner.

Council tax is around £50/month and bills around £70/month on top of the rent.
