Monday to Friday double room with en suite

Our home is on the Windrush Estate in Witney.

We’re a married couple in our mid-thirties, clean and tidy, sociable and friendly, but also appreciate having our own space. We both enjoy walking, being outdoors and making the most of the local area.

The room is furnished and has a private en suite bathroom. The house also has an open-plan kitchen/dining area, plus a downstairs utility room and toilet which would be shared.

There is free on-street parking directly opposite the house, and a bus stop is less than a minute’s walk away, with services into both Witney town centre and Oxford city centre.

Witney town centre is around a 5-minute drive or 35-minute walk from the house.

The room would particularly suit someone looking for a comfortable Monday to Friday base; somewhere to come home to after work, cook/eat, shower and sleep, without the expectations of a traditional busy house-share.

We’re ideally looking to rent the room Monday to Friday, although we would consider full-week or shorter-term occupancy for the right person.

We’re happy to share our home and have a chat over dinner or a drink from time to time, but we also value a respectful balance between sociability and privacy. We’d therefore be looking for someone who is clean, considerate and comfortable with a relatively relaxed and independent household.
