Two single rooms are currently available in our comfortable modern townhouse, less than a mile from Shrewsbury town centre. We only intend to let one of them, so once the right person is found, the other room will be withdrawn.

We are looking for a friendly, considerate working professional who would enjoy living in a relaxed, settled household rather than an anonymous HMO.

**Smaller upstairs room, £350 pcm including bills**
A comfortable, fully furnished small single room, ideal for someone working in Shrewsbury during the week, undertaking a professional or hospital placement, starting a new job locally, or simply looking for an affordable home base.

It is genuinely a small room, rather than a disguised ballroom, and the rent reflects its size. It has a Victorian-style cast-iron single bed, large dressing table with drawers, bedside table, chair and hanging space for clothes. A shared bathroom with bath and shower is directly opposite.

**Larger ground-floor room, £475 pcm including bills**
A bright, spacious and very well-furnished single room, recently completely refreshed with a brand-new good-quality mattress and new hypoallergenic bedding.

It has exceptional storage for a single room, including a large triple wardrobe, two six-drawer IKEA MALM chests, desk/dressing table and chair, full-length mirror and plenty of sockets. There is a large double-glazed window with a custom-made day/night blind and substantial lined curtains. A cloakroom with WC and washbasin is immediately next door.

**The house and location**
Shrewsbury town centre and railway station are around a 15–20 minute walk away, with an excellent bus service practically outside the door. Local shops, takeaways and other amenities are less than five minutes away, with a large Morrisons around ten minutes’ walk. Quiet country lanes, walks and cycle routes are also close by.

The house has full central heating, fast fibre broadband/Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, shared kitchen, comfortable living room and garden. There is possible use of the secure garage by arrangement. A cleaner comes once a fortnight for the shared areas.

We are a friendly, easy-going household who enjoy the occasional chat or cup of tea, while fully respecting one another’s privacy and independence. We are particularly hoping to find a mature working professional looking for a settled arrangement.

We don't mind if you smoke, but no smoking inside the house please. Both rooms are for one person only.
