Large Double Room in Quiet House

Large double bedroom in a semi-detached house with a large garden and a timber studio/shala for yoga or exercise.

The room has a king size bed and a memory foam topped mattress, a wardrobe, oak chest of drawers, desk, chair, lamp, big mirror, blackout blind and black out curtains.

You'll be sharing with myself, I am doing a postgrad degree in psychology and language, and another lodger, who's doing a PhD at Bath Uni.

I've spent most of my 30's travelling, living in different communities and yoga retreats. I'm fairly health focused, enjoy spending time in nature, gardening, wild swimming, hiking and mountain biking.

The house is not one for big parties, more a chilled, quiet, cosy home.

The road the house is on has no through traffic and is quiet throughout the day/night. We're on a hill with stunning views over Bath and the skies from the kitchen window/garden in the morning are lovely. Bath City Farm is a minute's walk, with plenty of nature to explore and a lovely café with great views.

There's a bus stop 1 min walk from the house with busess going into town every 15 mins and to both Unis.

Cycling into the centre of Bath: 10 mins, mostly on the traffic-free River Avon path
Cycling to Oldfield Park train station: 5 mins, then 15 mins by train to Bristol
Cycling to Bath Spa, Newton Park: 15 mins down quiet country lanes
Cycling to University of Bath: 35 mins on the Two Tunnels path

Walking to Oldfield Park train station: 20 mins
Walking to large Lidl (Cheap Supermarket): 15 mins
Walking to Bath Spa University: 45 mins

The house

Well equipped kitchen with two large fridges.
Lounge with two big sofas and a wood burner.
Big back (award winning) garden with lots of trees, a hammock, 2 ponds and a studio/shala.
Off road parking on the drive if you need it.
Attic storage and a secure shed for bikes.
All bills included: gas, electric, water, broadband, council tax.
