This house will have High Speed Fibre broadband from early March 2024

I have Room 2 available from 1st April 2024. This is a double aspect room and shares a large family bath / shower room with room 1.

The rooms are for single occupancy.

This is my home and I live here and share space with the lodgers. It is important that all 5 who share this house get along well together.

Initially, I am offering a Max of 6 month let. This will be reviewed after the initial period.

I will be taking up references and proof of employment and reference from previous accommodation.

Each room is furnished with a King size bed twin bedside cabinets, wardrobe. There is an easy chair.

All you need to bring is bed linen / duvet & pillows for a King size bed.

I am looking for a working Professional NON SMOKER who goes out to work during the day time/ working hours.

The Rent includes: Council tax, Electric, Oil Central heating, hot water, a cleaner for your room and all the communal areas, Building insurance, WiFi, Garden maintenance.

Located in South Somerset on the West Dorset border and close to East Devon. We are 3 miles from Crewkerne town centre with rail links to London and Exeter. 7 miles from Chard & 12 miles from Yeovil, 10 miles from Bridport,12 miles from Lyme Regis, 23 miles from Taunton and 23 miles from Dorchester. Ideal for commuting

You will not need any furniture.
You do not need to bring any kitchen equipment.

Everything else is included. This provides excellent value for money compared to renting a flat or house of your own.

Early viewing is recommended as this is a popular house to live in.

The house was fully renovated to a high standard in 2015, and has been fully inspected and registered with SSDC as an HMO. This house has a fire alarm system.

A cleaner is employed for 6 hours per week to clean the bedrooms, bathrooms and the rest of the house.

The house has full WiFi internet and each bedroom has its own TV point.

The house is set up for 4 lodgers and me. We are a very friendly and sociable household and as the landlord, I live on site as well.

All lodgers share a fully fitted kitchen with granite work top and patio doors to the south facing lawn. Kitchen table.

There is a fully equipped Laundry room with a Bosch washing machine.

Shared use of the dining room & sitting room.

Outside there is plenty of off road private parking.

I have a vegetable garden so if you want to grow your own veg I have plenty of space to do so.

In addition to the South facing garden accessed via the kitchen patio doors there are 20acres of open fields that front onto the River Axe to walk and relax.

I am looking for a NON SMOKING, working professional individual to share and enjoy this wonderful house with me and my lodgers. Ideally you will enjoy socialising with others or if you want, you can retire to your comfortable room for more privacy.

John has been a great landlord and without him and the other lodgers I 'am not sure how I would have managed! The only piece of advice I could give a new tenant is that I hope their time here is filled with as much joy and laughter as mine was. I will forever have fond memories of the Mill House and the good friends I have made here.
