The flat has a generous living room with high ceilings and lovely views out onto the garden, making it a particularly light and welcoming space. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar.

The bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom, and there is the option to purchase the previous tenant’s bed frame and mattress. Some storage units and a chest of drawers are also available to use if needed.

The property is managed by an agency. A parking space is available for an additional £60 per month, paid directly to the landlord, and bills come to approximately £100 per month.

A little about me... My name is Imogen. I grew up in the area and have recently returned to Somerset after spending several years living away, including in London and across Europe. I work locally as a yoga instructor and freelance in the arts and cultural sector, so I tend to lead an active and fairly busy life, balancing work, creative projects and travel.

I’m hoping to find someone who would enjoy sharing a comfortable, well-kept home and who has their own interests and life going on, too. It would be lovely to live with someone friendly, considerate and easy-going, who appreciates a relaxed home environment.

The flat is an annexe to the landlady’s main house, giving it a slightly more personal feel than a typical rental property. The landlady and her family are friendly, and I maintain a good relationship with them, as well as with the managing estate agent. It’s a lovely arrangement that helps make the flat feel like a welcoming place to call home.
