Hi, I’m Claire, thanks for taking the time read this.
My husband & I are looking for a lodger either on a short or long term basis.

Situation: My husband and I live with our 13 year old child in an end of terrace Victorian house. There are 4/5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
We are looking to rent one double furnished bedroom to the right person.
Both of us are in our 50's and have full time jobs. Our child is at school 6 days a week and busy with sports and studying.
Its a quiet, friendly household - gone are the days of late nights and partying - we prefer a nice meal, wine and chilling.

Room: Double room consisting of a double bed, triple mirrored wardrobe and two sets of drawers. There is a TV with Netflix, amazon prime and Disney channels.
There is a private bathroom next to the bedroom consisting of bath/shower/toilet & sink.
There is storage at the side of the property which is covered if you have a bike or similar.

Parking: There is plenty of on street parking. We do have a small front driveway but with different working patterns its usually needed to plug the electric car in.

House: There is a fully enclosed walled back garden which you can use to chill. We are not particularly green fingered so if you fancied growing some plants feel free.
Communal use of kitchen & dining room

Bills included: Gas, electric, water, council tax & broadband

You will need to like dogs as we have one friendly cockapoo. He loves cuddles and sleeps most of the time. He does not bark and has a beautiful temperament.

Area: Wellington is a market town in Somerset and has some lovely independent shops. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of green spaces to walk & cycle. The local gym with a pool is a 5 minute walk.
There are a number of supermarkets within walking distance including Asda, Waitrose, Co-op, Lidl and One Stop.
There are a few pubs, restaurants and take aways.
The house is a few minutes drive to the M5 motorway making it a great location for commuting.

Housemate: Ideally looking for a considerate, tidy, respectful & chilled person.

Exeter 40 min drive
Bristol 50 - 60 mins
Would also suit carers/nursing staff as it’s close to Taunton hospital (15 min drive)
