Double room for rent in this cosy cottage, near Winscombe, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage benefits from off-road parking and a garden and patio. It is close to the village of Winscombe (2 min drive or 20min walk) with all it's amenities (two pubs, Wine Bar&shop, several tearooms, a number of beauty salons and hairdressers, Indian takeaway, Chinese takeaway, Kabab House, renowned fish and chip shop, post office, chemist, Co-op, Tennis Club, Cricket and Rugby Club, and with access to the Strawberry Line Cycle Path). The cottage is a mile from the A38 and 30mins from Bristol, 20mins from Bristol Airport, 10mins from Cheddar Gorge.

Downstairs in the cottage is a shared large kitchen complete with washing machine, fridge, freezer, gas hob, eye level double oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, drying area, cupboard space and counter space. Also includes large kitchen table. Next to the kitchen is a shared cloakroom and toilet. There is also a shared lounge available when the landlord is not using it.

Upstairs is a shared family bathroom complete with bath, shower, sink and toilet. There are 3 furnished double bedrooms of which the landlord uses two. The cottage comes with wifi, although the signal can be a little patchy in some areas of the house. It is fine for streaming/downloading but might not be suitable for "home working".

Contribution to heating and cleaning bills but not to council tax or water.

I am a Drama Teacher and Actor who runs her own Youth Theatre business. I often work and teach my students from home (in a separate part of the house).

I am a friendly, sociable person who loves being active (walking, yoga, dancing). I love going out in Bristol but also enjoy nights in watching Netflix, having an occasional glass of wine and having people over for dinner or board games. I love cooking and am Pescatarian and Gluten Free so you would need to bring your own cooking utensils. I'd say I'm pretty relaxed but it is important to me to have a clean and tidy house we can both enjoy.
