We are 2 females & 2 males (in our late 20's & 30s) & need 1 more female to complete our lovely Cathays home. Room available 4th December 2025 onwards, a January move in can be considered also :) It's a 5 bedroom house & 1 of the girls is moving on, so we want to find 1 more female housemate to fit in well in our home and keep it mixed. Finding someone who fits in well is important to us - sociable, friendly & good company is a must :)
Bedroom available is an upstairs double bedroom. It comes fully furnished with desk, chair, double bed frame & mattress, wardrobe, bedside table & chest of drawers.
£420 per month rent. Water & Council tax are paid directly to the landlord at £56 per tenant per month. All other bills are split between all 5 tenants (gas, electric & any tv/Internet). So £476 rent to landlord (includes council tax & water) & further £55ish bills each month. So all in with rent & bills, likely around £531 per month.
Upstairs bathroom & separate toilet room also.
Nice garden area outside with garden table & chairs.
Depsoit is 6 weeks rent & is protected by landlord in the deposit protection scheme as required.
Property is family owned and managed by a private landlord with 20 years experience. No agency fees. They are members of the residential landlords association, rent smart Wales & have received their accredited approved Cardiff Council HMO license. They comply with all required schemes & have pride in this home.
We want a clean, friendly & social professional who will look after this home and keep it friendly & happy. We like to keep it clean and tidy and share chores and house responsibilities - so looking for someone who takes their share in a shared house - so that we can relax here after work etc.
No couples or pets accepted. Previous or current landlord reference & proof of employment are required by landlord.
Cathays location - off Crwys Road - with plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes etc. Very handy for access onto A470 & M4. Buses to town at the end of the street. On street free parking outside - permits - allocation of 2 permits for the house & 1 permit still available & so if permit needed that's not an issue.
Double glazed windows throughout and new boiler just fitted Feb 2025.
