Shared house in Meersbrook

Hi!

We are Clara (she/they) & Hannah (they/them) and we are looking for one housemate to join our houseshare in Meersbrook. We are friendly and sociable would love to occasionally share meals, watch films, have garden days etc, but also very happy for everyone to have their own things going on. We like to keep things clean and tidy but still cosy and lived in and would like someone who is happy to share house chores (we currently have a weekly cleaning rota to help stay on top of things). We also take joint care of the garden (mowing the lawn, weeding, watering) and we also grow a small amount of veg.

The house is in Meersbrook, located a couple minutes away from from Meersbrook park, and there are also shops and cafes close by (Lidl is a 5minute walk away).

The house itself has a shared living room, a kitchen/dining room, and a large bathroom with a bath, shower and a decent amount of storage for toiletries, towels etc. There's a lovely garden with space for relaxing/planting flowers and veg. There is also a cellar and small outhouse for storage. There is free on-road parking and you can always get a space.

The house is largely furnished but there is space for you to bring your own furniture and make the place feel like home.

The room is £328 a month. The deposit is paid to the previous tenant, and a £50 fee is to be paid to the landlord.

The room has a bed frame (no mattress) and a wardrobe.

Bills (water, electric, gas, internet, council tax) work out at roughly £175 per month per person. Council tax band B.
