I’m looking for a lodger for a lovely, self-contained basement flat that’s been finished to a high standard. It’s cosy, cool, and stylish – perfect for a professional person. It’s located on a quiet, friendly street near the park in Meersbrook, with no through traffic.

Rent: £575 per month
Bills: £200 per month (this includes council tax, high-speed internet, water, and TV license).
Energy bills will depend on usage (e. g., if you’re working from home).
On-street parking available.

The flat opens out onto a patio and a long, enclosed garden. The kitchen is small but well-equipped with a mini oven, induction hob, and a multi-cooker.

You’ll have access to the washing machine in my house upstairs. Short-term lets pls, and I’m happy to consider flexible arrangements. Sorry, no pets as my son has allergies.

I live upstairs in the main house with my two children. While the flat is soundproofed, there may be some noise transference, so this would suit someone who works during the week and enjoys a quieter, calm environment.

I’m LGBTQI friendly and looking for a considerate, friendly tenant who’s fairly quiet – I’m not into noisy parties! I’m a warm, open person and have become good friends with past tenants, sometimes sharing a meal or enjoying a G&T in the garden during summer.
