You will be sharing the use of the bathroom, kitchen, the dining room and the living room with the owner. The living room is spacious and ideal for social activities or for just sitting down and relaxing. The dining room contains a table, a large fridge-freezer, and a coffee machine. The kitchen has all amenities, including an air fryer and an additional small fridge for extra food storage. The bathroom contains a bath with an electrical shower. The house contains fast broadband connection with a mesh wi-fi connectivity around the house for easy and strong net signal and connectivity. The house has a cosy back garden with few plant pots for relaxing and enjoying the sun during the summer.
There's plenty of space for on-street parking near the property.
No minimum stay, maximum stay is 6 months (this could be extended other circumstances depending). Guests are fine with prior notice.
You will be sharing the house with myself (the homeowner). I’m a non-smoking, professional in my 40s, I work from home most days of the week. I enjoy cooking, reading, walking, being active, socialising over drinks, coffee, social activities. The house will be suitable for someone studying at postgraduate level or working, ideally the lodger would be a non-smoker, tidy, with friendly, mindful, respectful and mature personality.
The location:
Only 5 minutes walk from the supertram and local buses which will take you to the Sheffield city centre and the train station within 20 minutes.
The house is within minutes from several amazing independent cafés, pubs, and restaurants as well as many brand retailers such as Boots, Costa, and Subway. For shopping, the house is only walking distances from Lidl and Morrisons are within 20 minutes walk, while a Tesco Local is located less than 10 minutes away and is ideal for quick shopping trips for essentials. There are also Asda and a Sainsbury's superstore which are a quick car ride away.
Hillsborough park is also within 10 minutes walk from the house. The park is splendid for many recreational activities such as sports, festivals, and picnics. It has several social hubs such as the bowling pavilion, The Walled Gardens and the Coach House. Across the park lay Hillsborough Leisure centre with sports, gym and swimming pool facilities.
