Holding Deposit – HMO Rooms (House Share)

£80, payable once your application is provisionally accepted; deducted from first month’s rent on successful move-in.

Holding deposits may be retained (non-refundable) if:
– false/misleading information is provided;
– you fail a Right to Rent check (valid photo ID required; non-UK residents must also provide a valid share code);
– you withdraw from the application; or
– you do not take reasonable steps to enter the tenancy within the agreed timeframe.
(Where required by law, holding deposits are capped at one week’s rent.)

Security Deposit

Usually five weeks’ rent (or one month’s rent, subject to landlord agreement).

Client Money Protection: Letting Complete Ltd is a member of a government-approved CMP scheme.

Deposit Protection: All deposits protected with the DPS (Reg. No. 1577427).

Cashless Deposit Option (Reposit)

Reposit available as a non-refundable alternative to a traditional deposit.

Pay the equivalent of one week’s rent for cover over the tenancy term.
