Hello, I’m Jamie and here is my spare room which I am offering up for rent on a short term basis.

About me:
I am 29, I work in the aviation up industry and therefore I am away quite a lot. I have lived in this house since March 2020 and it is my absolute pride and joy. I am a very sociable person and I enjoy generally being outdoors.

The area:
The property is located in the small village of Stoneywood which is situated to the west of Denny. Stoneywood marks the far east end of the Carron Valley. There is ample places to go for walk locally or with easy access to more remote areas.
There is a bus the leave less than 10 metres away from the house that runs to Falkirk. There are a few train stations all within 10 min of the property, the closet ones being Larbert and Camelon.
There is quick access to the M80 to Glasgow and the M9 to Edinburgh and towards Perth and the north.
Grangemouth refinery is between 15-20 minutes away also!

The property:
The room on offer has a double bed with a very comfortable therapeutic mattress. Chest of drawers for storage as well as a large wardrobe. There is also a desk and a chair for anyone that may need space to do work.

Next to the bedroom is the main master bathroom which is fully tiled, very clean and modern. The shower is very powerful and easy to use.

Downstairs is a very large open-plan kitchen, living room and dinning room. The kitchen is modern, clean and well equipped with an electric hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer.

The living room is of a minimalistic style yet very cosy. In the summer the room is flooded with natural light as that side of the house is south facing. When the weather is warm I usually having the back door open which really makes the whole house feel even more open. I have a 65 inch Samsung TV with and Bose sound bar and Netflix also so you will hear as well as see your your films and shows in the best possible way.

I have a dining table which can seat 6 but I usually have it set up just for 4.

Just as you walk into the house there is a cloak room for your convenience.

Heading out the back door leads to my garden, it’s a lovely space and a real sun trap. I have a large decked area with garden furniture which can seat 7 people which is great for having people round for drinks. The garden is south facing so get sunlight all day and in the summer it can get really warm.

Throughout the house there are a large variety of house plants. I take a lot of pride in them and I feel they really add to the overall feel of the property.

The house is a constant working progress and I do frequently add features but these only enhance what is already there and make your stay more comfortable.
