Double room in Bury St edmunds available 1/10/26

In the room there’s a double bed which is cosy as well as tv with chromecast/ wardrobe / drawers / heater

It’s completely furnished and every single cost is included, I’ve had messages asking so thought I’d clarify. I’m bury born and bred I just want someone to look after my place and respect it 👍

This is an exceptional advert on this site as you personally get the use of the whole flat but I have to stipulate that this room is for a single / private / respectful person and you don’t make noise and disturb my downstairs neighbours 👍

Would suit a cat lover as my cat Alan lives there and would be helpful to have someone feed him - he comes and goes via the cat flap and is a sweetheart !

This is the important part and needs to be agreed as I’ve had several nightmares in last couple of years and has caused numerous problems : 👇🏻

The place needs to be clean/tidy and treated with respect. You’re renting a room and sharing with someone who is hopefully clean and tidy also, but getting use of the whole flat but that doesn’t mean having friends / guests round. Would suit a quiet professional person.

You would be sharing with my friends james and Dani - a hard working low maintenance couple that someone trustworthy and reliable.

5 mins from co-op by the college / 3 mins from the arc and town centre.

Parking for cars : you can buy a permit for about £60 which allows you to park in chalk road or Victoria street … there are numerous 1 hour bays in Victoria street which doesn’t require a permit and I’ve never received a ticket from parking longer in these but numerous people ask about parking so thought I’d add this in 👍

£650 month rent on moving in and £650 month deposit required straight away if you decide to take the place.

I’m very fair and honest so expect it back in return 👍

We would have to discuss time you could possibly want to stay, if it’s the right person it’s an absolute bargain of a nice place to live with 2 sound hard working people living there. And my cat Alan 👍
