Description

Live in landlord seeks one lodger for remaining ensuite spare room and use of kitchen diner and garden area. The remaining room has an ensuite with a shower W/C and a nice big bath too.

the remaining room has a larger ensuite including a bath and shower and has a velux window as well as a main window. This room is available for single occupancy.

The room both has eves storage, double bed and key to lock. If you require a smaller bed for more usable space, that can be arranged.

The spare rooms are on the 1st floor.

I live downstairs in the converted lounge as my own room and so I won't require access upstairs other than to get into the landing utility cupboard or loft occasionally, or to hang clothes.

If you work from home more than twice a week then we may need to discuss a utilities surcharge to cover.

Before moving in, a Lodgers Agreement must be signed.

Guests are allowed but not stay overs.

The area is generally very quiet. Ideal for studies and general wellbeing.

Nearest train. Woodmansterne/Coulsdon South/Coulsdon Town all with 8-15min walk

Close to Banstead, Purley and Croydon

Coulsdon Town has many restaurants and has a Lidl and a Waitrose. It has a Tesco local too.

Local green areas include Banstead Woods which is close enough to walk to and around. There is also Farthing Downs and New Hill in the opposite direction and very close by.

There are a few local pubs and two local community theatres.

There is a corner shop (Londis) at the bottom of the road which is open 7-9pm

Transport Links :

Coulsdon South has Fast Thames Link trains to London Bridge via East Croydon and Clapham - And Brighton is on the other platform via Gatwick

The 166 bus is at the bottom of the road and goes along the A23 towards Purley, or towards Banstead.

There is also a local road bus 434 which goes to Caterham indirectly.

There's a Sheila maid to dry clothes and a clothes line outside in the garden

There are some basic house rules which I would run past anyone who views the rooms, but basically clean up after yourself, and shoes off inside.
