**The room is available from Friday this week, I am really looking for someone to take the room as soon as possible this month (July) please don't ask if I can hold the room for you until August.**
Good size double bedroom (3.5m x 3.0m) in shared house in Central Croydon on the south side of the town centre. Room has double bed, wardrobe, chair and chest of drawers. Kitchen and shower room facilities are shared.
15 minutes walk to East Croydon Station for main line trains to London Victoria, London Bridge, Brighton. Numerous buses stop within yards of the property, the nearest tram stop is only a short walk away. A parking permit can be obtained from the Council if you need to park a car.
The room is available immediately and the rent is £550 per month, suitable for single occupiers only please. The rent includes Wifi, TV Licence, Council Tax, Gas, Electricity and Water (unlike many landlords I don't charge any extra admin fees, bills, charges, costs etc).
Additional storage includes cupboard in kitchen for groceries / kitchenware and shared use of fridge freezer, cooker and microwave oven. The property is in excellent condition.
Non-smokers are preferred, smokers are permitted but strictly no smoking anywhere in the house, not even in your room. A guest is permitted to stay so long as it is not for more than 2 nights in any week. Working prefessional people preferred please.
Standard AST tenancy agreement for a minimum term of 6 months, a holding deposit of £300 will be required to secure the room, this will be deducted from your first month's rent when you move in. On the day you move in you will need to pay the first month's rent (£550 less the £300 holding deposit paid) plus £550 paid in advance which covers your very final month's rent. Thus a total in advance of £1100 (2 months rent) before you can move in.
Free parking at the property is available for visitors (i. e. say 1 or 2 days per week) but for permanent on-street parking your would need to purchase a permit from the Council.
Sorry, but due to the insurance policies for the property we can only accept employed tenants, I'm afraid we cannot accommodate housing benefit claimants.
