My fiance and I are renting out our double room in our airy and bright 2 bedroom flat.
This is a lovely 2nd floor room with floor to ceiling windows so plenty of light, an IKEA cupboard which includes shelves and a set of large drawers, bedside table and lamp and desk if you want this also! There is space to store shoes / other things under the bed also if needed with under bed storage boxes included.
All bills are included in price including toilet paper. Full use of amenities including all kitchen utensils, microwave, stove cooker, kettle, toaster, cupboard for your food, fridge and freezer and use of balcony whenever you want.
We have a small but well stocked gym in the basement of the block which you have full access to (includes running machine, rowing machine, cross trainer, bench for weights, dumbells, yoga matts, medicine balls, punch bag, bike and various other equipment) often the gym is empty / one other person using it so it doesn’t feel crowded, There is also a games room which is great for a round of table tennis, darts or pool. There is also a roof terrace and a work space in the basement should you want to work in a different location. We also have a secure bike rack you can use in the basement of the block also with space for up to 2-3 bikes if you have more than one! The block is very secure with CCTV on the landing and a lift right outside the door. There is a large green park about a 5 minute walk away, great for an early morning run or a picnic! South Croydon station is a 10 minute walk away, East Croydon station is a 12- 15 minute walk away and Waddon station is a 7 minute walk away. We are also very close to the large shops such as IKEA and M&S food hall on Purley Way too.
We are looking for someone who is a working professional, who doesn't mind sharing the home with a resident friendly cat Katniss. We are seeking someone who is friendly and respectful of the flat - this is not a party house as during the week we are busy with work so are up early and not typically out and about late in the evenings. Evenings are chill and down time! We however do often do things after work in London depending and occasionally we have friends over but more often will go out to socialise.
We are a relaxed couple who are partial to a glass of wine in the evening, love trying a new restaurant but typically we will cook in the evenings or go out for a long walk or watch a Netflix show. I work hybrid from home and in the office in the week and so does Chris my fiancee so there will be some days we are not home so you will have the flat to yourself. Living room has a large tv with Netflix, Amazon and Apple TV and a very comfy couch to chill on! We are looking for someone who also has a balanced lifestyle and who is clean and tidy.
