About the Room & Property:
I am looking for a lodger to rent a lovely, fully furnished double room in a tidy, ready-to-go 2-bedroom maisonette. The room and the entire house have just been renovated and freshly painted. The bedroom comes complete with a comfortable double bed, a spacious wardrobe, a chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, and a desk, plus plenty of storage space. The layout of the maisonette naturally places the bedrooms on opposite sides of the property, offering a nice bit of extra privacy. The room's window also faces a quiet, chilled road for a peaceful night's sleep.

The House, Amenities & Me You will be sharing the home with me—I am an IT professional who works from home, and in my free time, I love Latin dancing! The shared spaces are kept very clean and tidy, and include:
- Modern Kitchen/Dining Room: Fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, new large fridge-freezer, oven, gas hobs, air fryer, and a dining table.
- Bathroom: A bright, clean shared bathroom featuring a full-size bath and modern vanity.

Location & Transport This is a fantastic location to live if you work in Central London, Gatwick Airport, or Croydon Hospital (which is just a 20-minute walk away!). It is incredibly well-connected, making commuting a breeze:
- 10 minutes walk to Selhurst Station.
- 17 minutes walk to East Croydon and West Croydon Stations.
- 40 minutes total to reach London Bridge, London Victoria, or Gatwick Airport.
- Bus lines on your doorstep: 75, 157, 50, 468, N68, SL6, and 450.
- Convenience & Safety: Lidl is just around the corner for easy groceries, and there is a police station on the same road. On-street parking permits are also available.

- Male Professional: Looking for an independent, easygoing male professional who wants a relaxed environment and to feel truly at home.
- House Vibe: This is a quiet, peaceful home. Occasional quiet visitors are okay, but definitely no loud visits or parties.
- Dog Friendly (But No Other Pets): I have a dog that comes home to visit sometimes, so you must be comfortable around dogs! However, I cannot accept a lodger with their own pets—one is already too much! 😄
