Double Room | Own Bathroom | Cat-friendly home

Hi, I'm James! I have a double room in a quiet, gated development, 25 mins from central London, cat-friendly home, available from mid-September.

Location: 8 minute walk from Selhurst station (zone 4) gets you into Balham in 13 mins, Clapham Junction in 20 mins or Victoria in just under half an hour. Or there's a bus stop right outside (routes 50, 468 & SL6) which takes you to East Croydon and West Croydon stations in 5-10 mins, where there's fast trains (15 mins) to London Bridge, Victoria or Gatwick Airport.

Area: The flat is located in a peaceful, private development in Selhurst, with spacious outside space and an outside swimming pool. Access is via key fob only so its safe and secure. There is a park across the road, and a Lidl and Tesco Express just a few minutes walk.

Flat: I've lived here for 6 years and my current flatmate is moving on after 3.5 years. There is a large open plan living/dining room and kitchen, where I also have my office space when wfh. Most importantly, I have two cats - Buddy & Lola - so being cat friendly is a necessity. Ideally I'd find someone who doesn't mind looking after them when I go on holiday.

Room: Double bed, spacious built in wardrobe with ample storage, desk provided and wall-mounted TV. There is bathroom next door with bath and shower, which you'd get to yourself (except shared with the cats!), as I have a separate en-suite.

Looking for: Young professional who is clean, tidy and respectful. Someone who is down for the occasional beer, but also who is happy to have their own space and chill. Even better if you like Formula 1 or Fantasy Football.

Price: £1,000 pcm including all bills, but this can be negotiable - most important is finding the right person.

Viewings available from now, move-in date from mid/late September, can be flexible.
