Tidy, well-maintained and comfortable throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances and ample storage, and there's a cosy lounge with comfortable sofas and a dining area to eat or unwind in. The bathroom has a powerful shower. There's also a lovely private garden at the back.
THE HOUSEMATES
Three friendly working professionals. It's a sociable but respectful household with a good balance of community and personal space, so you can join in when you want and have your own space when you don't.
COSTS
Bills are split evenly between the four housemates and work out at around £140 per person per month, covering gas, electricity, water, WiFi and council tax. On-street parking is available with a resident permit if you need it (around £100 a year from the council).
TRANSPORT
East Croydon Station is a 10-minute walk, with Victoria, London Bridge and Gatwick all around 15 minutes away. West Croydon is also a 10-minute walk for Overground and Southern services, and Church Street tram stop is two minutes from the door. The town centre, Lidl, gyms, restaurants and cafés are all within a couple of minutes. The house itself sits on a quiet one-way residential street, so it's central but peaceful.
