The clean, recently-decorated, first-floor room is furnished with desk & chair, chest of drawers, bookcase, fitted cupboards and wardrobes, and a small-double ‘Murphy’ bed – which can be easily folded away if required (also available unfurnished). Nice views from the window over allotments to Figge's Marsh.

You’ll have access to a fully-equipped kitchen/dining room, utility room with washing machine and your own fridge/freezer, bathroom with shower (shared with one other), & the comfortable living room. Side gate leads to secure cycle shed and garden; on-street parking is free, and smaller vehicles can share the driveway.

In a quiet residential area, the end-of-terrace house is a 10 minute walk from both Tooting and Mitcham Eastfields stations – offering four Thameslink trains per hour into the City and King’s Cross, and two to Wimbledon – and 15 minutes from Collier’s Wood Northern Line tube station. From the bus stop behind the allotments, there are very frequent services to Tooting Broadway, St George’s Hospital, Wandsworth, Brixton, Croydon and Mitcham.

Figge’s Marsh green space is right across the road, and shops (including Lidl), restaurants, pubs etc are a few minutes’ walk away around Tooting station. Lime Bike station within 100 yards.

Sharing with a middle-aged professional and his studious 17-year-old son, the room is suitable for working people looking for a quiet, comfortable base from which to enjoy everything London has to offer.

Single occupancy, though guests permitted. References required. Monthly fee includes all bills, including Band D council tax and Wifi at 150Mbps. Happy to consider well-behaved pets.
