A furnished double bedroom and your own bathroom, occupying the whole top floor of my Edwardian cottage in Peaslake. £900 per month, including all bills and Wi-Fi, with off-street parking.

You’ll be sharing the house with just me, so this would suit someone looking for a comfortable home with plenty of privacy and space to themselves.

The room has a double bed, and the private bathroom includes a bath. There’s also a shared living room and lovely front and back gardens, which I look after. The kitchen will be shared, also.

Peaslake is in the heart of the Surrey Hills, with fantastic walking and mountain biking on the doorstep. It’s a great location if you enjoy the outdoors or village life.

I’m Stuart, a 46-year-old professional working in communications. I’m friendly, easy-going and enjoy cycling, walking, cooking, music and art. I’m happy to have a chat and share the occasional meal, while respecting each other’s space and independence.

I’m looking for one considerate, tidy person who wants somewhere to feel at home. No couples, smokers or vapers, please.

The room is available now. Rent is £900 per month, including bills, with a £900 deposit.
