The room is almost a self-contained flat, with a bathroom one step across the hall, and large shared kitchen two steps further.

Your private lounge area is to the front (the bay window having fully-adjustable blinds for privacy), with a coffee-table and tv.

The bedroom-section is to the rear, giving directly via your patio doors onto the spacious rear garden.

Fully furnished with easy-chair, workdesk and chair, wardrobe, shelving, tall chest of drawers, bedside units with touch-lamps, etc. And we're very flexible about this: do feel free to re-organise the room and furniture as you wish! Any additional furniture can be organised as required.

Full family-sized bathroom upstairs, and a separate shower-room. Second bathroom/toilet downstairs.

Large kitchen (far more spacious than my amateur photography would suggest!) with common seating area, and all the usual facilities, large oven, hob, toaster, mini-grill, 2 microwaves, etc. Washing machine, tall fridge/freezer, second bench-top oven in adjacent utility-room.

Bike/other storage available in garage, and in lock-up shed in garden. Wifi throughout the house.

An open, roomy, characterful place, with vast rear garden and outside seating area, the house is fully compliant with HMO safety regulations (fire-resistant doors, etc.)

A short walk (300 mtrs) to the metro station (Fawdon). Local Aldi next to metro. Local Asda 400 mtrs the other way, A short drive to the A1. Gosforth centre just down the road. On-street parking outside house.

Cyclist? A bike ride down Kenton Road and across the town moor (avoid the cows!) takes you into Newcastle in 15-20 minutes.

Despite its excellent connections, this house is one of the quietest homes you might live in, situated away from the main roads on, effectively, a cul-de-sac with no through-traffic.

Smokers, you'll have company! But smoking is outside only (no exemptions), usually in the garden.

Suit quiet-living, steady type, mature student or professional. Not a party-house! Easy to chat with each other, but your individual space is respected. (Occasional outbreaks of sense of humour have been reported).

Other housemates vary between young, vigorous, upcoming professionals, highly-qualified postgraduates, and fast-fading old bloke (currently penning this Masterpiece of descriptive delight).
