Friendly houseshare in colourful, quiet home!

Hi, I’m Chris 😊

I’m looking for someone respectful and clean to share my house. The available room is the Master bedroom, and there is a second bedroom you can use as office/gaming/chilling space. I have a large kitchen and cosy shared living room, as well as a sunny garden with flowers and patio furniture in the summer.

Your bedroom has a huge wall-length mirror wardrobe with a second large cupboard for those with too many clothes! The bed is a queen size, with underneath storage.

The bathroom has a bath and rainfall shower head, and I have a downstairs toilet and utility room too. There is storage space in the garage if you need somewhere to put some spare furniture etc.

I live alone but I have a partner who comes to stay on a weekend sometimes.

I am a clean and tidy person who really appreciates quiet after 9pm (I have a stressful job and need decompression time 😂)

I live a 4 minute drive from the A1 and Team Valley, and there is a local shop, Post Office and Amazon lockers. We also have 2 award-winning restaurants, an Indian-gastro pub and an Italian bistro selling home made food. There are lots of lovely walks close to my home if you like nature.

There are regular buses to Gateshead,
Newcastle, Birtley and Chester-le-Street, but if you had a car, that would be best. There is plenty of parking space outside my home.

The neighbours are helpful and lovely, and my family live very close by if you ever need anything.

As for me, I work with vulnerable children in Child Protection, but I am looking for a career change. Me and my partner Rhianna have been together for a year, and love arty stuff like pottery painting, graffiti, playing games etc.

I am looking for someone to live with me for a year, possibly longer.

I am flexible around times for you to come and view the house 😊
